Synthetic enamel on cut aluminum composite panel
49 x 46 inches
Originally from Spain, Demsky has traversed the globe constructing and deconstructing his tag name, or as he describes it “destroying the alphabet from every angle” since the early 90's. Influenced by arcades, synthesizers, and sci-fi films, Demsky's style has artistically grown to incorporate elements of geometric abstraction into his writing that mirror the dimensional reality of the nostalgic recent past. He uses bold, futuristic colors of “Blue Laser” and “Red Neon,” as well as color gradients that mimic holographic effects. This piece was on display in A Major Minority group exhibition at Mirus Gallery August 2017.
