Bohdan Burenko is an artist based in Kiev, Ukraine. His most recent series “Heads” is comprised of portraits depicting geometrically deconstructed faces. He uses sharp angular distortions to architecturally reconstruct the face. Bohdan is inspired by the concept of the human as a complicated machine. His paintings portray an individual’s life force in the form of a cubist facial glitch. This piece was exhibited in Mirus Gallery's Anamorphic Portraiture group exhibition in June 2017.
